The Art of Kicking Game

What do I mean by kicking game? I mean the ability to woo (or swoon in Conrad's case) a woman with conversation. I've been out of the game for a long while and its difficult to get back into the groove. My co-worker has no issue with his game...the guy has picked up practically every available girl in the mall we work at. I guess its just gonna take some more practice...lol. John Mayer says that his momma always told him to think before speaking but this might be the root of the problem. I think that I think too much! I shouldn't be thinking of something witty to say, I should just play off of her conversation but that is easier said than done.

So maybe with a little luck, a little practice, and the right girl I too will be able to kick some game.

My Quarter Life Crisis Explained....

So I've had this blog for a short time now and I feel I haven't adequately explained the title of my blog. Since today is one of those days where I'm suffering from my quarter life crisis more than usual I thought why not post about it. What I mean is that I'm in my last year of university and I'm feeling the pressures of finding a career and since I'm single I also wonder whether I'll find someone or whether Riz and I will patch things up but most of all its the feeling of being near the end of the tunnel and just being anxious to reach its end.

I believe most people go through this just as they go through a mid-life crisis but its not often identified. Well I'm doing my best to make things clearer by taking you through my Quarter Life Crisis.

Am I Gettng Old?

Ok so here I am sparring in karate class when I go and kick with my left leg and end up pulling my hamstring. It wasn't very painful when I did it but just walking to the car afterwards I really started to feel the pain coming on. Its been a couple of days now so it feels much better, but now my knee is beginning to cause discomfort. I don't get it...I'm only 24 and I'm getting all these pains in my body. I have some people in my karate class that are quite older than me and they seem to cope well. Am I just out of shape? I think that I do a pretty good job of keeping fit but maybe I don't....

In other news....I go to the gym regularly and there are these two guys who work there selling memberships to new members. These guys are NOT in good shape. They work out and then their post workout meal is ALWAYS pizza. I dont get it... if part of your job is selling the crediblity of your gym facility and its programs to be able to get you into shape and keep you there shouldn't you live up to those standards?
My workout partner and I always get a kick out of seeing them heading to the foodcourt and having their pizza.

Kerry for President!

Kerry for President Posted by Hello

What is going on with Americans? Did they sleep through the last four years? Did they not watch the Presidential Debates? Thanks to President Bush they have endured the one of the highest rates of job losses of any President as well as having the highest deficit in over 75 years and having lost many in the Iraqi War. What else do they need to convince them that Bush isnt meant to be the leader of their nation. He wasnt supposed to be there in the first place. Imagine how different things would be if Gore had won in 2000.

I can't go through another four years of Bush....Kerry For President! Ohio get your act together and vote for the right man for the job
