Sox Win the Series!

Alrgiht the Red Sox win the series and end the curse. That made my day... Finished all my assignments so now i can get some sleep and then study for my midterm on Tuesday.

Work sucks ! we have to inventory and all this other crap.

I like the new workout routine...its quick and painful and a lot of fun. I wanna get in good shape for the cruise im going on in May. Of course this is only so i can eat three times my weight worth of food on a daily basis while im there. But fun nonetheless.

This post is so random i think i will stop here. I promise to post something more coherent next time.

Go BOSOX Go!

I watched the third game of the series and I can't believe how well Boston is playing. Their defensive troubles in the first two games luckily haven't hurt them and yesterday the tables were turned with the Cardinals making some blunders of their own. Great baseball.

I think if I had to pick a place to live in the US I would choose Boston. I hear its a great city. I'd like to visit some day....maybe next summer.

Short post today...Its midterm season so I am a little short on time....

Hoooman Capitoe Seeree.....Sank you

Okie Dokie...So I had that presentation that I had mentioned in an earlier post today. It went awesome and we received several compliments. Our group member who spoke little english did her best. It was difficult to understand but the message got across...but the funny part was looking at the prof listening to her speak....He had a look that made you think that if he squinted enough that he would understand her better...all the other group members (myself included) were desperately trying to contain our laughter.

Now if only I could finish this paper I have to write and finally get some sleep....

Spoke with riz today ...feel better now.

So I am not blind....

Woot! I went for an eye exam and I was told that I have perfect vision with the exception of a slight correction in my left eye and that I do not need glasses. Not a big deal but the only bit of good news today. I spent most of the day moping around and doing homework.

Tonight I had a great karate class...I'm beginning to shake off the rust after a long break. I was forgetting a lot of what I had learned. So that was a good release.

Now I have to get working on this presentation coming up on Thursday and the paper that I also have due that day.

Love and Forgetfullness

When I started this blog, I didn't really want to post anything about my lovelife (if you can call it that). But after this weekend I think I must because it has affected me so much. You see there's this girl named riz who i dated for over three years. She's in Rome right now studying and she's a blogger herself. The truth is that I still love her very much but this weekend I really screwed up. It just so happens that this weekend was her birthday and at the same time she's feeling really homesick....and what do I go and do? I forget it's her birthday! She calls me and reminds me of this fact and I feel like the biggest jerk on the face of the Earth. Why am I so forgetful? Its the only flaw of mine that I really hate. I forget EVERYTHING!

My friends all say that I shouldn't be in contact with her and I should be angry, etc.(They'll probably be upset with me when they see this post, lol) But there's no way I can get angry with her. With her I just feel a connection that i cant explain. I've been trying to get over her for the past few months, keeping my options open with other girls and such but I can't get over her. Sometimes I feel I dont want to get over her because I can sense that she still feels for me. Maybe some you have been in this situation and know where I'm coming from. Maybe I'm being stupid.

I hope that she can find it in her heart to forgive me. I also hope that she can see past her anger and realize that I really do miss her and think about her a tremendous amount but most of all I hope she realizes that I love her very much.

Well in honour of me being a jerk this weekend the song of today's post is

Freunde, Amis, Amici, Amigos....Friends

Last weekend I had one of the best experiences I can remember. I got together with a bunch of friends and played a game of football at our old highschool football field. I know you may be saying "So What?" The thing is there were friends of mine there that i had not seen in ages...not since high school or early university. The greatest thing was that we pretty much picked up where we left off, no hard feelings about the lack of communication or any of that, just the game, the grass the ball and the camaraderie.

That was one fun experience and then this week I got in touch with a couple of my university housemates. I found out that one has started an indie record company and the other has a demo album out. We chatted about things and made plans to have a night of drinking and debauchery.

Its little things like these that make me realize the importance of friendships and keeping them strong. I find that many have to be reminded of this.

Ok, today rather than having a song of the day I thought I'd give you the sites for my housemate's music. Please check them out and if you're in the area check out a performance or two.

Presentations....and the New Girl

Ok so I'm in my last year of university, my victory lap, and most of my classes involve making presentations for my professors and the rest of my class. This is no big deal...I don't have any problems speaking in front of large groups. The problem is today we had a fifth group member added to our existing group of four. She's great...but she doesn't speak any english. So here's the deal, we have a group meeting to divy up the work and so each person states their preference and such but when we get to our new member she tells us, through some help of a translator, that she cannot take on the part of the work because her english isn't very good. I have no problems with new people to the country, without them Canada wouldn't be able to survive, but how did she get this far in university without the language? And if you cant to the research how can you give a presentation? So we asked her to work together with one of the other group members to get the work done. We'll see how the presentation goes and I'll keep everyone posted.

On another subject, I think I'm gonna be making daily song recommendations and call it "The Song of the Day". Check it out and comment on whether or not you like it or think I'm crazy for liking it myself.

Today's song of the day is "In the Meantime" by Space Hog

That's it for now, blog you later.

What's My Motivation?

Welcome everyone. This is my first post so its not going to be very creative. I just wanted to lay down the motivation behind this blog. I guess it was 'cause everyone else is doing it... so why not? This way I can share with you all the things in life that piss me off or make me laugh or just whatever pops into my head. So that's all for now but stay tuned..The "Blog" cometh.
